What data we collect

We collect information about you when you register with us. We also collect information when you complete surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. We also collect our website usage data using cookies.

We collect all of the information you provide when you fill in our forms including your name, address, age, ages of your children and email address.

All data collected in connection with your panel membership and your participation in studies and online surveys will be stored and processed securely.

When we collect your data via our surveys we use Survey Monkey as our trusted survey system partner and send out emails via Campaign Monitor. We sometimes employ freelancers who help us with our projects.

Such companies and individuals will only have access to the personal data they need to perform these functions, they may not use it for any other purposes and are required to process the data in accordance with data protection laws and regulation applicable in the United Kingdom.

All data we collect is held in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How we use that information

We use that information so we can match you to take part in our projects or to contact you about current projects or upcoming projects.

Admission to and membership of the panel is free of charge and does not oblige you to take part in any projects, and you can choose to end your membership at any time.

As part of your panel membership, your data is collected and processed so that we can invite you to take part in product tests, surveys, interviews and other forms of market research and innovation projects; statistically evaluate your responses and participation in these market research projects; and carry out market research analysis. The results obtained from all participants in each study are always fully anonymised before being shared with our clients.

You may also be rewarded with incentives in return for taking part in our market research studies. In the process, you will provide us with the data we need to issue your incentives.

We will not pass your personal details onto any third parties. Furthermore, no personal data will be shared with the clients who commission our studies.

Please note that if we are requested by the police, government, regulatory or other body investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your personal data and/or use details, we are entitled to do so. Your information may be disclosed to any successors of our business, in the event of a re-organisation, merger or sale, for them to use for the purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy

We take all sensible precautions to protect your data and prevent others from viewing it. You have the right to unsubscribe from The Family Panel at any time.

How long your data is stored for

We store your personal data only for as long as is necessary in order to fulfil the purposes described above. We review and audit our data every 12 months and delete personal identifiable data that is no longer required or become inactive.
